Established in 2018, Skiltrak emerged from the vision of bridging the gap between students and the industry by facilitating seamless work placements. The inspiration behind Skiltrak stemmed from observing students who struggled to secure suitable workplaces for their training requirements while grappling with understanding the industry during their training. We also recognized the challenges faced by educational organizations and Registered Training Organizations (RTOs) in finding eligible workplaces that not only aligned with course eligibility criteria but also catered to students' expectations and needs. Moreover, complying with regulations, monitoring student progress during placements, and ensuring the accessibility of all placement documentation presented additional hurdles. Skiltrak was conceived as the solution to these challenges. Our innovative placement management platform was purpose-built to connect educational institutions, RTO Compliance, students, and industries while simultaneously safeguarding documents and enabling progress tracking, all within a single platform. Our dedicated team includes comprehensive administrative support, placement coordinators, and sourcing coordinators who work collaboratively to ensure a seamless student placement, experience for all stakeholders. By addressing these pain points, Skiltrak continues to redefine work-based training management, empowering students and enhancing industry connections.
