Smallmap GPS is an application developed by Smallworld System AS that gives you map background and you can make measurements with centimeters accuracy on mobile phones and tablets, with associated GPS equipment. The solution has been tested in conjunction with the Spectra Precision SP60 antenna and corrected GPS signals from the Mapping (CPOS) and provides accurate measurements in x, y and z, and is well-suited for surveying ditches and wire paths.
The measurements come in as a job from Smallmap GPS and can be entered as surveying data in Smallworld, to preserve the measured data, before they are used as geometries on the wire objects.
Since working with measured data can be transferred to land-measured data in Smallworld, they can be used to generate Smallworld objects automatically.

FUNCTION:
◽ Smallmap GPS can be configured to facilitate grid owners' metering instructions so that the required attribute / meta data is included for both the measurement points and the measurement mission.
◽ The application makes it easy to see what the measurement precision is for the measurement data from the GPS equipment. A precision limit can be set for valid registration of measuring points.
◽ One can associate single measurements as lines or surfaces. The data model will be reflected by Smallworld's survey model when the measurements are sent to Smallworld.
◽ In the Smallworld application, each measurement assignment can be displayed through a custom dialogue. Here, the assignment can be processed and used as a basis for online documentation. Measurement data can also be converted to surveyed data, such as when importing a SOSI file.
