I suspect this app may be incompatible with Android 5.0 devices. The settings could be bypassed using the status bar in such devices. Swipe lock is a lockscreen which does not employ your conventional pin/password/pattern. Instead, it uses a combination of swipes. With a secret combination of swipes only known to you, you can unlock your device without looking at it!

Note that the device administrator has to be enabled for the auto-lock feature to work. However while the device administrator is enabled, you cannot uninstall swipe lock (You will have to first disable the device administrator prior to uninstalling)
