About the University


The Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University was founded based on the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of Kyrgyz Republic on the terms of establishment and operation of the university in Bishkek of 9 September 1993 as an interstate higher educational institution and formed after a classical university, is a widely recognized center of education, science, and culture in the Kyrgyz Republic. The founders of KRSU are the government of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic. At present, there are 24 integrated training programs and specialties for all levels of higher education: Bachelor's and Master's degree programs, specialities programs, postgraduate studies, and residency training. Today, KRSU is a fast developing modern university, which includes all levels of professional and continuous education, highly professional staff, and extensive research and innovation infrastructure based on cooperation with sectoral and academic science, the business community, and state and local self-governing bodies for the development of the republic, society, and state.
