The Chilean Society of Pediatric Pneumology (SOCHINEP) was founded to bring together health professionals who are dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases in children and adolescents, with the purpose of promoting the development of pediatric pulmonology in the local and regional scene through the Latin American Society of Pediatric Pneumology (SOLANEP). For this purpose, SOCHINEP will focus its activities on teaching, extension, training, dissemination and health promotion areas, stimulating relationships with similar entities represented in national and international scientific societies, government and community institutions.
