The Roça application is a system created to assist in planning and controlling the production of family farming collectives, initially developed for a collective in Piraí/RJ.
The system has two types of roles: administrator and farmer; named, respectively, as "Coordinator" and "Nucleado" profiles.
The coordinator profile has access to the functions of registering, editing and removing Settlements, Products, Families and Users and managing Lists.
The nucleated profile has restricted access to List features, such as adding and editing products, and viewing all products registered in the list.
The objective of the system is to assist in recording planting, lists and harvesting for commercialization, self-consumption, exchange and donation, in addition to producing reports that assist in the collective's financial management, estimating future harvest, harvest loss rate and planting planning based on marketing demands. In this first phase, only the organization of lists (pre-harvest) for the sale of baskets (CSA) is implemented.
This application was developed by the TICDeMoS team at the Technical Solidarity Center (SOLTEC/NIDES) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, through the parliamentary amendment "Participatory diagnosis for organizational and productive consolidation of agrarian reform settlement territories in the South Fluminense region" , by deputy Taliria Petrone.
