The remote video-interpreting service in Italian Sign Language (LIS), accessible through our platform "Sportello Deafness", intends to promote the elimination of communication barriers and is aimed at all Deaf citizens residing in the province of Trento who can use them for free.

The aim is to provide, to each user who registers on the platform, the possibility of having full and concrete access to communication in all contexts of daily life, in contact with public institutions and beyond (such as schools, municipalities, pharmacies, libraries, information desks, etc.).

Thanks to this service, each deaf person will be encouraged and offered the possibility of communicating through their mother tongue through the availability of a remote interpreter.
