e-Perinatal is an application based on scientific evidence, designed to support the mental health of mothers and fathers during the perinatal period. Developed by a team of professionals with extensive experience in comprehensive maternity and paternity care, e-Perinatal offers resources and tools that seek to prevent mental disorders at this very important stage.
This application is part of the research project “Universal prevention of maternal perinatal mental disorders and its implementation as normalized routine practice”, funded by the Horizon Europe program of the European Union through a Starting Grant (No. 101042139). This project has the University of Seville and the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) as beneficiaries and pursues two main objectives:
1. Prevent mental health problems during the perinatal period
2. Incorporate a personalized tool that supports the work of health personnel and that is integrated into the routine practice of care for women during this stage.
Important: Currently, access to this app is limited exclusively to mothers and couples who have been invited to participate in our study to evaluate their app feasibility. However, in the future it is expected to be available to a wider audience.
