40 Sacred Hadith
The word "hadith" has the lexical meaning "message, story." Its special terminological meaning is “the tradition of the words or deeds of the Prophet Muhammad.” There are two types of hadiths: the hadiths that belong to the Prophet - they are called the hadiths of the Prophet (salalahu alayhi wa sallam) and the hadiths that belong to Allah - they are called the Hadiths-Qudsi (Holy Hadiths) and are transmitted through the Prophet (salallahu alayhi) .
