Sparsh has been working in the field of Animal & Bird welfare, for more than 15 years. Over the years, we have been able to help thousands of animals/birds in distress and do our best to give them the comfort and help they need to recover.
Though in cities, there are various NGOs working for this Cause, we felt that there was a serious need for a set up in the Rural area. With a view to try and reach animals who otherwise have little or no help, in 2021, we started our full-fledged Animal Clinic in a village called Panchali (Valsad - Gujarat) called *Paw Garage*
In the last 1.5 years, we have endeavoured to help as many animals as we can and being one of the only places having admission facilities, we have already attended to over 500 cases. We have also neutered over 120 dogs which is a small beginning towards animal population control, which is extremely important. We also have 3 vans for carrying sick and injured animals and the same also are used for onsite treatment.
The purpose of the app is to help us track the admission’s releases , deworming and vaccinations schedules with ease. As the team expands we have to ensure that aspects of medical care are recorded and communicated with ease without causing duplication of work and also help the team function in a more time efficient manner. The app will also help us ensure that each dog is returned to its rightful territory. The app will also be helpful in reducing human error.
