Speak2 works with senior communities and nursing homes. Onsite residents who are under the care of the community which they live. The communities are managed by various ownership companies. The app is not intended for the general public, as the content provided is directly provided by the community in which they live. A user must be a resident of the community in order to sign up for the app. Users obtain an account by manually requesting to be invited by the community management. They receive an email and SMS with a 4-digit code and are prompted to sign up with their details (name, phone, password). Only people who live in the community can be invited to the app. There is no paid content in this app. The content is provided by the community as part of being a resident of the community. The user can contact the community and consume the content via this app. It is intended to enhance the ability for community residents to interact and stay informed about their community. There is no cost for an account via the app or any other method.
With the Speak2 Neighbors app, residents in senior living communities can access content and make requests for services. Residents can easily get their menu, calendar, announcements and community links. They can place requests to the departments in the community, and view other residents and groups. They can also Check In with heir community, and see documents that are made available to them by the community staff.
