Speaqr is a tool that enables communication in up to 8 different languages through a personal room or a virtual conference (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams) using Artificial Intelligence.
With a minimum of data (e-mail, name/alias and language) Speaqr provides you with a multilingual room. In the room, both you and your guests can speak in the language of your choice, the tool will distribute the messages (voice to voice) in the language that each participant has configured on his terminal.
In addition, if you have an important meeting in a language other than your own, Speaqr is also able to connect to Google Meet, Zoom or Teams as your interpreter. Once you are on the call, everything that is said will be translated into the language you have configured.
How do I start using it?
To register with Speaqr, simply choose your language, enter your e-mail address and verify it. We will send you a confirmation e-mail and, all you have to do, is click on the "Verify e-mail" button.
Once the verification is done, Speaqr will ask you for some basic configuration data for its operation:
-Native language
- Name or alias
- Voice preference.
You don't need anything else! You already have your Speaqr room available!
On the main screen you will find the following elements:
- QR code: By carrying out its scanning, the device will be invited to your room.
- “Share link" button: Allows you to send the access to your room by the means of your choice (WhatsApp, Gmail, Message, etc.).
- Button "Enter room": You will enter your multilingual room.
- “Meet, Zoom or Teams” button: Allows you to connect Speaqr to a virtual meeting.
- User icon: By clicking on the icon at the top left you will be able to acceed to your details and settings.
- Links of interest: At the bottom of the screen you will find a tutorial on how to use Speaqr or contact us with any question you may have.
How do I start a conversation in the room?
First of all, you will have to share your link with the person you want to talk to. This person will have to fill in its data and ask you for access, waiting until you open the room and accept its request.
If you did not have the room open, clicking on the "Enter room" button will open it. Once inside you will see the pending request, and by accepting it, your guest will enter and be able to communicate with you.
Look at the controls at the bottom of the screen, the following controls are available (from left to right):
-Transcription button: Apart from listening to your guests, you can read what they say.
-Share button: If you are missing someone or want to add a member "on the fly", you can resend the access link by pressing this button.
-Hang up button: If you are the owner of the room, the conversation will end for all members (you close the room), but if you are a guest, you simply leave the conversation.
-Microphone button: Allows you to control the status (on/off) of your microphone.
With all this you simply need to speak and let Speaqr work its magic.
How do I connect to a meeting?
By clicking on the "Meet, Zoom or Teams" button and providing an access link, your virtual interpreter will be automatically connected to the meeting. (You can also scan the link).
Within the meeting (Meet, Zoom or Teams) your interpreter will have to be accepted by the meeting organisers.
Once accepted, your interpreter will pick up all the audio from the meeting and translate it for you in real time. You should turn off your microphone in the meeting (Meet, Zoom or Teams), so as not to create any language interference.
When you finish, simply press the hang-up button on your device and your virtual interpreter will leave the meeting.
