Smart Power India aims to create the ecosystem for Rooftop Solar to reach 100 MW installation by 2024 to displace 150,000 tons of carbon annually, by crowding-in relevant actors, including Customers, OEMs, Channel Partners and Financiers, and unlocking the solar rooftop market for millions of diesel-dependent MSMEs across low-income states of North & East India specifically across rural and peri-urban regions.
Since, the current penetration level of rooftop solar has been very laggard owing to numerous reasons like unwillingness to cater across rural consumers, financers reluctance to explore small ticket sizes etc, SPI through this program would catalyse the channel partners to penetrate across the market more aggressively. This is done through the innovative performance linked incentive mechanism, facilitation of easy finance through institutions, large scale consumer awareness programs and other perks from program partners etc.
Facilitating the system to start with gathering the potential customers and channelising the process to accomplish the installation and handover the system to the customer which includes their site survey, documentation, financing and installation and commissioning. Taking care of the equipments and their warranties and running it efficiently will also be done.
SPI has a very robust mechanism for ensuring proper customer support after handover.
As all the Solar equipment installed is based on our recommendation, and most prominent solar OEMs are partner to SPI in this program. We ensure that customer complaints are handled diligently and quickly.
Secondly, as all CP are our associated with SPI in the program on on-going basis. We ensure that service-related issues are address by them with complete urgency and meticulously.
