Shingeki no Kyojin (進撃の巨人), published in Indonesia under the title Attack on Titan, is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The story is set in a fantasy world where humanity lives in a region surrounded by three layers of great walls, which protect them from giant man-eating creatures known as Titans. The manga has been serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine since September 2009, and has been published in 32 tankōbon volumes as of September 2020. Attack on Titan has been a critical and commercial success. As of December 2019, the manga has sold 100 million copies in print worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series.
