Citra Buana Banyuwangi is a Community Radio which broadcasts on the frequency 107.7 FM. Founded on April 25 2000 in Sidomulyo Hamlet, Sumber Beras Village, Muncar District. Initially, the establishment of this radio occurred without a big plan, just as an amateur radio transmitter for public entertainment through ordered songs and karaoke. However, radio competition is so tight among the many radio amateurs that Citra Buana Banyuwangi is having difficulty surviving.

After the radio was almost closed, Mr. Ari Sumito took over its management. By changing the content of the broadcast into spiritual songs and other motivating programs, this radio began to get a positive response from the public. In 2001, the Citra Buana Banyuwangi radio studio moved to Bayatrejo Hamlet, Wringinpitu Village, District. Tegaldlimo and continues to grow to this day.

Radio Citra Buana Banyuwangi's activities/services are not only present through on-air broadcasts, but are also active in social activities, such as listener meetings, counseling, free medical treatment, and distribution of basic necessities. It is hoped that the presence of Radio Citra Buana Banyuwangi will continue to provide benefits and inspiration to the surrounding community.

This is all because of God's plan for Radio Citra Buana Banyuwangi if it can still survive to this day.
