My name is Csaba, and I’m a father of two young children living in Europe.
I wanted my kids to learn a foreign language in a playful and natural way.
But I couldn’t find a picture dictionary that met both their needs and mine.
So, together with my wife—and using our experience in software design and education—we created our own app.

I’ve organized more than 1,000 English words into over 30 categories, suitable for toddlers and older children.

From simple baby-friendly topics to more advanced content, this dictionary is useful from age 2 through the teenage years.

The method is based on visual learning! Magical illustrations full of smiles and fun expressions make learning enjoyable and help children remember vocabulary more easily.

👉 Audio
Every word and phrase includes native speaker pronunciation, which grabs kids’ attention and helps them develop accurate pronunciation.

👉 Playful English learning
The app includes a learning module (PixiSchool) and 6 interactive games to make English learning fun:
PixiMemory, PixiQuiz, PixiPair, PixiSay, PixiWords, and PixiSpelling

👉 Contextual learning
Each phrase comes with a short explanation and audio translation, making the meaning clear and memorable.

A classic memory game where kids match identical cards. Each correct match plays the English word – great for building vocabulary, memory, and focus.

👉 PixiQuiz
Children choose the image that matches the word shown, from 4 options. Mistakes can be retried – perfect for word recognition and visual association.

👉 PixiPair
Match colorful cards with their black-and-white pairs. A correct match triggers the English pronunciation – enhancing attention, fine motor skills, and vocabulary.

👉 PixiSay
Children say the name of the object shown in the picture. If unsure, they can flip the card to hear the correct English pronunciation.

👉 PixiWords
Choose the correct phrase for the picture from 4 options – improves listening comprehension and reading skills in English.

👉 PixiSpelling
A spelling game where children must spell the word that matches the image using the English alphabet. Once completed, the word is read aloud by a native speaker, reinforcing spelling and word recognition.
