About Sudoku

Sudoku is a number placement puzzle that is based on logic based combinations. The name of the game is a short version of Su-ji wa dokushin ni kagiru which literally translates to ‘the numbers must be single’. It gained real world popularity in 1986 at Japan when it was published and given the name Sudoku.
This objective of the game is to fill all the columns, rows and grids in the puzzle with number from 1 to 9. You may think that this is very easy but the game setter partially fills the grids thus making only a single solution plausible and making the whole game more exciting. The difficulty of the game increases with the increasing number of grids.
