Welcome to Mount Gilead!

Echoing the words of the late Reverend Foster G. Young, who served this congregation from 1977 to 2004, "I feel very humble that God in His wise providence and the members of this church saw fit to select me as pastor of this family." It is certainly amazing that I now pastor this church having been raised a couple of houses up the street. This church has played an important part in my spiritual journey.

I can sum up this congregation in one statement: We are Disciples that Make Disciples. Our challenge is to cultivate in every member a hunger and passion for discipleship. We believe that the Great Commission is still a great commission. We want to be known as a congregation that lives out true discipleship which results in personal transformation.
