The predecessor of Malaysia Huachang Shengli was Shengli Agriculture. It was established in 2012 and is one of Malaysia's rapidly emerging fertilizer suppliers. By introducing foreign cutting-edge technology and top-level raw materials, the company enables local farmers and the entire agricultural field to move towards modernization and efficient harvesting.

In the early days of its establishment, Shengli Agriculture was a company engaged in fertilizer trading. Because the company insists on letting farmers use good fertilizers in order to have a richer harvest-only by going further and ahead can farmers get more. Shengli Agriculture decided to set up its own factory in Jenjarom, Selangor in 2013. It integrates processing, packaging, warehouse, logistics, quality management, and sales in one, allowing farmers to enjoy one-stop fertilizer marketing services.

In 2014, Shengli Agriculture was selected by the largest fertilizer manufacturer in Eastern China - Jiangsu Huachang Chemical, one of the top 100 chemical companies in China, to join in, and established Huachang Shengli.

The company cooperates with local colleges and universities as well as agricultural universities and land research institutes in China to conduct academic research, and then apply the research results to the planting field.
