The Sunda Tuner application is an application that can be used as a reference in tuning/tuning the Sundanese pentatonic scale (salendro tuning, degung tuning, and madenda tuning) on musical instruments. The intervals of the notes for each tuning have been adjusted to the theory of Sundanese musical tunings and the basic note frequency can be determined according to the user's wishes.
For those who want to use the basic note frequency based on the size of the flute, a list of basic flute note frequencies is available by clicking on the question mark (?) image at the top left.
Features of the application:
Search for Frequency Values of Tones
Users can select one of the tunings, and enter the desired basic tone frequency value in tone 1 (da), then the frequencies of the other tones will adjust.
Audio Adjustment/Tune
The frequency of the notes resulting from the search can be sounded by clicking on the fiddle image, and these sounds can then be used as a reference in adjusting or tuning musical instruments.
Visual Alignment/Tune
This application can detect the sound of an instrument and compare it with the frequency of the tones from the search results. With a needle indicator at the top, this application will visually show whether the note is too high, too low, or in tune.
This application will continue to be developed and perfected. Hopefully this application is useful.
What's new:
Determining the interval of the notes in each barrel in this application refers to the theory of the 15-tone salendro barrel assembly (tonal system) of R. Machjar Kusumadinata, as follows:
Laras Salendro (1' – 240 cents – 5 – 240 cents – 4 – 240 cents – 3 – 240 cents – 2 – 240 cents – 1)
Laras Degung (1' – 400 cents – 5 – 80 cents – 4 – 240 cents – 3 – 400 cents – 2 – 80 cents – 1)
Laras Madenda (1' – 400 cents – 5 – 240 cents – 4 – 80 cents – 3 – 400 cents – 2 – 80 cents – 1)
