In explaining the merits of Surat Al-Fath came one hadith narrated by the Commander of the Faithful, Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, in which the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – was walking on some of his journeys, and Omar Ibn Al-Khattab was walking with him at night. And peace be upon him - then he asked him and he did not answer him, then he asked him but he did not answer him, Omar Ibn Al-Khattab said: Your mother bereaved you, Omar. I visited the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - three times. In the Qur’an, then I did not hear a shriek yelling at me. He said: I said: I was afraid that it had been revealed in a Qur’an, and I came to the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - and greeted him. »; Then he recited: “We have given you a clear victory.”

And in another narration: “The Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: Yesterday a surah was revealed to me that is dearer to me than the world and what is in it; “Indeed, we have opened a clear victory for you so that God may forgive you your past and future sins.” And the meaning of the saying of the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him-: “A surah was revealed to me tonight..” There are two aspects:

The first: That the meaning of the words of the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - in Surat Al-Fath: It is dearer to me than what the sun has risen upon, that is, it is dearer to me than everything, and because there is nothing but the world and the hereafter. Nothing but the hereafter.

- The second: That the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - addressed his companions with this, based on what people used among them in addressing them from their sayings. To me” in it is good tidings of conquest and forgiveness, and “We have opened for you..” meaning we have decreed for you a clear decree that the people of Mecca should enter it and your companions.
