The main axis of Surat Al-Ma’idah revolves around Islamic legislation, which our Lord, the Blessed and Most High, sent down from above the seven heavens in order to establish the Islamic state and organize its societies on the basis of human brotherhood that believes in the oneness of the Creator, Glory be to Him, and in the unity of the message of heaven that our Lord, blessed be His name, completed in The Noble Qur’an, and in the Sunnah of the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - and he pledged to preserve it until the Day of Judgment, so it has been fully memorized over the past fourteen centuries: word by word, letter by letter, in the same language of revelation as the Arabic language, while all previous forms of revelation were exposed to Complete loss, and the followers of some of them lived on memories that were transmitted orally over several centuries until it was formulated in a human form, with all the shortcomings and distance from perfection for humans, and therefore it is still subjected to deletion and addition, revision after revision, liberation after liberation, and change after change to this day, And until God - the Most High - inherits the earth and those on it, hence the review of the Holy Qur’an and the honorable Sunnah of every believer in God, the Resurrection, the Account, Heaven and Hell, and eternity in the afterlife.

This divine legislation sent down from heaven confirms the right of God - Glory be to Him - to legislate for His servants, because He - Glory be to Him - is described as absolute rulership over all of His creation without a partner, no likeness, no quarrel, no companion, no child. Hence, the first clauses of this legislation was the belief in God as God, in Islam as religion, and in our Master Muhammad - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - as a prophet and messenger.
