Theme of Surah An-Naba
This surah is a model for the direction of this part with its themes, facts, rhythms, scenes, images, shadows, music and touches in the universe and soul, the world and the hereafter, and the choice of words and phrases to anticipate their rhythms that have the most impact on the senses and the conscience.

It opens with a question that raises eyebrows, arrogance, and exaggeration of the truth about which they differ, and it is a great matter to hide in, and there is no suspicion, and this is followed by threatening them on the day they know the truth: “What are they asking? From the great news, about which they differ. Both will know, then both will know!

And then the context changes the meaning in talking about the news and leaves it to its time, and draws them to what is between their hands and around them, in their own selves and in the universe around them of a great matter, indicating what is behind it and revealing what they will recite: Azo ⁠⁠ࣰ ۝ and make us sleep.

And from this host of facts, scenes, images and rhythms, he brings them back to that great news about which they differ, and which he threatened them with on the day they know! To tell them what? And how:) It is a day.

Then the scene of the torment with all its might and violence: “Indeed, Hell is a place where the tyrants will find refuge. Only intimate and dusk. Compromise penalty. Indeed, they did not hope for an account, and they denied Our revelations as a liar, and everything We have enumerated in a book, so taste, we will only increase you in punishment.

And the scene of bliss flowing in streams: “For the righteous have spurs: gardens and grapes, and stalks of soil, and a chalice of perishables, and they shed thyme. A reward from your Lord, a gift of reckoning.

The surah ends with a great rhythm in its reality and in the scene in which it is presented. With a warning and a reminder before the day comes when this glorious scene will take place: (Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Most Gracious, they will not possess a speech from Him. On the Day the Spirit and the angels will rise in rows, they will not speak except for those whom the Most Merciful has given permission and said what is right. That day is true. We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a person will see what his hands have forwarded, and the unbeliever will say, “I wish I were dust.” That is the great news. who are asking about it. And that will be the day they will know that great news!
