Ornamental Plants Producers Sub-Union (SÜSBİR) is one of the seven sub-unions affiliated with the Turkish Seed Producers Association, pursuant to the Seed Law No. 5553. Following the law that came into force in 2006, SÜSBİR completed its establishment and started its activities in 2008. SÜSBİR is the only public institution representing ornamental plant producers in Turkey. SÜSBİR, which has approximately 600 members, covers approximately 50% of the total area where ornamental plants are produced in Turkey.
SUSBIR; It carries out its activities with the aim of facilitating professional activities by providing solidarity among its members, ensuring the protection of their economic and social rights, contributing as the representative of the sector in the formation of legislation and fulfilling the duties assigned by the legislation. Türkiye is in a very suitable region for ornamental plant production with its geography and different climate characteristics. In addition to the suitability of production conditions, the advantage of proximity to the market enables the sector to grow and develop every year. With this awareness, SÜSBİR; It aims for its members to find the value of their products in a market where supply-demand balance is established by producing at accepted standards, to increase product diversity, and to help the sector reach the place it deserves in the international market. SÜSBİR moved its headquarters from Istanbul to Ankara in November 2013 in order to provide better service to its members.
