MEET THE CLUB
The Tax Club, University of Ilorin is one of a similar network of Tax Clubs in University campuses all over Nigeria. The Tax Club has become synonymous with tax progress, inclusiveness and education across industries and demographics in Nigeria.

Established in 2017, the club has carved a niche for itself in the tax space and renowned for excellence. Apart from recording milestones in a number of National Tax Competitions (e.g National Tax Debate, Joint Tax Debate, National Youth Tax Summit, etc), the club is also in partnership with Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS), Deloitte Nigeria, Ernst & Young NG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, among others.

At the Tax Club though, we are not simply satisfied to be one of a network of Tax Clubs around the country. Rather, we hunger for the creation of a unique identity that sets us apart from others and establishes us as the premier breeding ground for the next generation of tax gurus.

We offer platform for our members to gain tax knowledge and develop a career path in the field.

The club is renowned for being the foremost professional students’ body campus. This is not in unrelated to our human capacity building that prepares our members for the realities they’ll be coping with after they’ve graduated.

Beyond the letters of tax and strict adherence to professional ethics, the club is a home away from home with lovely and down to earth members that you’ll like to relate with.
