PEER TO PEER PLAYERS is a card game with multiple choices where you have to make decisions that affect the progress and the end of your game.

The game will catapult you into the life of a second-grade high school student and into all those everyday life situations that can take place over a whole week: the choices you make will lead you to tackle numerous issues and hundreds of different alternatives they will force you to make sometimes very complicated decisions. Thus you will face the seven days of the week, divided into three phases, morning-afternoon-evening, and you will face choices and circumstances, each of which will influence five behavioral parameters, which determine your survival: health, intelligence, leisure, sociality, fairness.

Not infrequently you will encounter unexpected events, crossroads, questions and requests for help that may hinder or help you in your experience.
These are the choices you will make to determine your character!


THE PROJECT, THE THEMES AND THE EDUCATIONAL ASPECTS

PEER TO PEER PLAYERS is a project born with the aim of promoting the psycho-social well-being of young people and encouraging peer support, in particular to counteract the incorrect use of the web and the use of psychoactive substances retrieved via the web.

The project associated with the gaming app made it possible to start a peer-counseling service at two schools in the city of Palermo, to carry out research on the responsible use of the web and on the risks derived from access to dangerous sites and from use of psychoactive substances and to carry out dozens of informative days at the schools of the city of Palermo; has launched a competition of ideas, aimed at high school students of the city of Palermo, for the realization of this game app for smartphones and tablets, so that students of the same territory can support each other, in a perspective of trust and mutual respect, and making informed and responsible choices for their health.

The game was tested on visually impaired subjects suffering from congenital achromatopsia with visual acuity reduced to 1/20 per eye.
