When you first launch EdgeMind, you’ll be asked to grant permission via Health Connect to share specific health metrics. This allows the app to personalize your experience, though you can choose full access, select individual data types, or deny access entirely
Create Your Profile
In the profile setup, you’ll enter basic personal details that help EdgeMind tailor recommendations and securely personalize your experience, and you can optionally add a username and password to enable connections with external health services such as MyData (https://mydata.iwelli.com)
Choose and Load an AI Model
EdgeMind lets you download and switch between AI models of different sizes, balancing speed and depth of answers while keeping all processing securely on your device.
Voice Features and Controls
With EdgeMind’s voice features, you can speak naturally to the app and hear responses out loud, using simple toggles to enable or disable voice mode and audio feedback at any time.
Chatting With the Assistant
After loading a model, EdgeMind greets you with a friendly chat interface where you can type or speak questions, see response speed, and get clear answers—whether it’s “Give me a fitness plan for the week,” “What is my average sleep in the last 7 days?,” “Help me stay motivated,” or “Was my heart rate normal yesterday?”
Personalised Health Answers
EdgeMind personalizes its responses by combining your health data with AI, so when you ask about sleep, steps, heart rate, or fitness goals, the answers are based on your actual numbers instead of generic estimates.
