Adaptation of Jenő Cholnoky's book of the same title, published in 1912, into an application. It presents the lives of 12 outstanding scientists, with a special emphasis on their intellectual development and careers.​
Its purpose was not to provide a comprehensive overview of the history of science, but rather to present the diversity and development of scientific thinking through the examples of scientists who lived in different ages and circumstances.
