IAITF was chosen as one of the universities organizing the Ministry of Bidikmisi Scholarships since 2019, Most Students Received Provincial Scholarships in 2019, Dumai City Government Scholarships, Dumai City BASNAS Scholarships and Hafidz Scholarships provided by CIPSF-IAITF and Foundations

Through the vision of the Institute "Being at the forefront on the East Coast of Sumatra", the IAITF pioneered the formation of the Melaka Straits Scientific Association (PIPSM) with UiTM Melaka, Riau University and UIN Suska Pekanbaru, and has been followed by other universities in Indonesia and Malaysia

First in the city of Dumai, the Institution Accreditation B winner (Very Good), followed by the accreditation of study programs, mostly with a B rating issued by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BANPT) in Jakarta
