Watch faces don't automatically appear; you need to select them manually:
On your smartwatch: Press and hold the home screen, swipe left to find the newly downloaded watch face, and press the home button.
On your smartphone: Open your watch app, navigate to watchfaces, and select the new watch face.
Q2. My new watch face isn't listed despite following the steps in Q1.

Allow around 5 minutes for Google to sync your purchase.
