⚫ The Treasuries and Accounts Department of Tamil Nadu is disbursing Pension for the following categories of Pensioners at Pension Pay Office, Chennai, District Treasuries and Sub Treasuries in Tamil Nadu

⚫ Tamil Nadu government has launched a TN ECS online portal for the citizens especially the government employees and pensioners of the state to check pension status. Through this portal, they can check their Tamil Nadu ECS status whenever and from anywhere they want.

⚫ TN ECS portal is providing help to the retired employees of the Tamil Nadu state. Now they do not have to visit the Treasury of revenue office to check the status of their pension, DDO Token and salary of government employees.

⚫ How much is the pension in Tamilnadu?
The amount of pension is 50% of the emoluments or average emoluments whichever is beneficial. Minimum pension presently is Rs. 9000 per month. Maximum limit on pension is 50% of the highest pay in the Government of India (presently Rs. 1,25,000) per month. Pension is payable up to and including the date of death.
