Originally nebulae was the general name given to all extending astronomical objects, including galaxies beyond the Milky Way
Nebulae often also form from stars like the Sun as they die, the white dwarf stage. This nebula is commonly called the planetary nebula. This nebula is formed when a star like the Sun runs out of fuel. This causes the star to continue to grow until it finally blows away its stellar wind on a large scale, causing it to lose its mass. These stellar winds then form the Planetary Nebula and the stars become White Dwarfs.
There are interstellar cloud structures formed from star jets, but they usually do not have the status of a nebula, but can be considered a nebula. Its name is Herbig-haro Object. This object was formed when a jet of newborn stars crashed into cold matter and formed a nebula.
