Telemistretta was born in 1989 thanks to the great will of Mons. Michele Placido Giordano, then just arrived in Mistretta as Archpriest of the parish of Santa Lucia.

The broadcaster obtained a regular concession to broadcast during the period of great reform of the radio-television system introduced with the "Mammì" law and is carried out by volunteers.

Today, Telemistretta represents an irreplaceable means for the dissemination of information on the events that take place in our reference area.
