Community is an application that allows residents and users of residential buildings and developments to access and control various aspects of community life. This may include functions such as reserving common facilities, receiving notifications about important events or notices, managing access to shared areas, and receiving updates on the maintenance and security of the building or venue. In short, it is a tool that facilitates interaction and management of community life.
The main panel of the application has several functions, one of the main ones being the sending of messages between neighbors and work personnel related to the building or development. At the same time, you can also view those devices associated with the buildings and perform different actions on them. A device will be associated with an area to which a group of users will have access; these users will be able to view and/or control the device and the information it displays. These devices can be sensors to check the temperature of the room, or the level of humidity in the air, or simply allow the opening of doors, or activation of the air conditioning. The actions that can be performed on the systems are actions such as opening, closing or activating/deactivating the system.
In the reservations section the user can make a reservation for a common area to which they have access. For example, if a user has access to the common area of the “paddle tennis courts,” they can make a reservation for one of the courts on the day and time they want. The system ensures that reservations do not overlap between users. The time to reserve an area will vary depending on the type of area and the purpose it serves.
The community section has two boards, the notice and incident board and the notification board. On the notice board, users will be able to view problems related to the building or premises, such as a water leak or the malfunction of a device. In the notifications section, users will be able to view messages that have been written by the president of the community or other users, such as a community meeting or some type of event. Only the president of the community and some designated users with permissions will be able to publish on these boards, but all users belonging to the building or urbanization will be able to view its content.
In the user's profile it is possible to log out, if desired, as well as access the preferences section where the user can modify their personal information (name and surname, notifications, application language). In the security section the user can change the password if they want to change the current password for another. Another option available to the user in the security section is to unsubscribe from the application, this option will delete all information related to the user from the application immediately and permanently.
