Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, known mononymously as Vijay, is an Indian actor, dancer, playback singer and philanthropist who works predominantly in Tamil cinema and also appeared in other Indian languages films. Vijay is the highest paid actor in South India.

His first debut film as child artist at the age of 10 years in the movie "Vetri" released in 1984 and as hero his first film is "Thirumalai" and so as he actied in 64 films.
