How to Check JKN KIS Active or Not

Participants in the National Health Insurance (JKN) Indonesia Healthy Card (KIS) are identity cards managed by the Health Insurance Administering Agency (BPJS). Initially the program was named BPJS Kesehatan which later changed to KIS starting March 1, 2015.

Registering to become a JKN-KIS participant, currently does not have to come directly to the BPJS Health Office, because there is already a registration channel that can be chosen to provide convenience in registering, including the JKN Mobile application, BPJS Health Care Center 1500 400, Mobile Customer Service, District or through other third parties in collaboration with the Health BPJS.

Prospective participants choose the New Participant Registration menu. Then fill in the electronic participant form with data prepared by NIK, domicile address, FKTP, and choose treatment classes and fees. Then complete the email information data and mobile phone numbers that can be contacted.

After the data is complete, then register the JKN-KIS contribution autodebit according to the instructions in the application. Participants will get a Virtual Account Number (VA) will be sent to the e-mail address and the contribution autodebit will be made no sooner than 14 days after successful registration. Participant Cards will be sent to the domicile address or can access the Digital KIS on Mobile JKN.

BPJS Health membership status can be checked with several online and offline. For offline, you can directly go to the BPJS Health office while the way to check whether or not active online can be through the BPJS official website, BPJS Health mobile application, BPJS Call Center, and SMS Getaway.
