Since the passage of Article 4 of the Fourth Schedule of the Constitution of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on the approval and endorsement of the Ordinances issued by the Military Decree, from March 12 to November 8, by the Constitution (Fifth Amendment) Act, 25 (Act No. 8 of 24). Since some of the ordinances are enforced by the Act No. 7 of 24; And
Since, after reviewing the requirements and relevance of the said ordinances, the ordinances considered are required of all stakeholders and all the ministries and departments, and the government has decided to make new laws in Bengal in response to the demands of time for necessary correction and refinement; And
Because in light of the Government's above-mentioned decisions, it is expedient and necessary to enact new laws to ensure safe road transport in response to the demands of the period in accordance with the provisions of Motor Vehicles Ordinance, 1983 (Ordinance No. LV of 1983);
Since then, the Road Transport Act, 23 has been enacted.
