TH-SL Thai Sign Language Database Application is a digital repository system provided by the Thai Association of the Deaf in Thailand. It collects Thai sign language vocabulary used in everyday life along with videos demonstrating accurate and clear Thai sign language gestures. It supports two search formats: searching for Thai words to watch Thai sign language videos, and searching for videos by selecting from the four elements of Thai sign language: hand form, position, movement, and direction. This results in accurate results. Thai sign language consists of five elements, with the fifth element being the use of facial expressions and gestures. This application does not currently support this, but there are plans to develop a facial expression and gesture detection system in the future to enable users to fully use all five elements of Thai sign language. In addition, all users can submit information or request information about the meaning of Thai sign language gestures that correspond to Thai words, or ask how to make Thai sign language gestures for Thai words, without having to know both Thai sign language and Thai vocabulary. This allows the Thai Sign Language Center team of the Thai Association of the Deaf in Thailand to develop new Thai sign language vocabulary or gestures and publish them for requesters and the public to use, helping to expand the Thai sign language database for continuous growth in the long term.
