Overview
SiMA-Android is a mobile application developed to facilitate wireless content sharing from Android devices to a local visualization system through SiMA series base units, such as the SI-S311 3x1 BYOM switcher. Tailored for collaborative environments like meeting rooms, classrooms, and other professional settings, the app supports Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) wireless presentation systems. It enables multiple users to seamlessly switch and display their device content on a main screen, enhancing group presentations and collaborative workflows.
Functionality
SiMA-Android offers a range of features to support dynamic presentations:
• Screen Mirroring: Mirrors the desktop of your Android device onto a connected local display, allowing real-time sharing of your screen’s content.
• Live Camera Functionality: Enables the use of your device’s camera to stream live video feeds to the display, useful for demonstrations or interactive sessions.
• Multi-User Support: Allows multiple users to connect and switch their devices to display content on the main screen, ideal for collaborative settings.

Requirements
To utilize SiMA Wireless effectively, the following are required:
• SiMA Series Base Unit: A compatible base unit, such as the SI-S311, is necessary for connectivity. The SI-S311 is a 3x1 BYOM switcher with wireless presentation capabilities, supporting high-resolution outputs up to 4K60.
• WiFi Compatibility: Your mobile device must be compatible with the WiFi channel configured on the base unit. SiMA Wireless supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi channels and does not switch channels during operation.
• WiFi Password: The password for the base unit’s WiFi network is required to establish a connection
