The application of the masterpieces of Ibn al-Qayyim

Praise be to God, we praise Him, we seek His help, we seek His forgiveness and we seek His guidance, and we seek refuge in God from the evils of ourselves and the evils of our actions. He who guides God, there is no misleading him, and he who misleads, there is no guide for him, and I bear witness that there is no god but God alone who has no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. Oh God, nothing is easy except what you make easy, and you make sadness easy if you wish, make our affairs easy for us and teach us what benefits us, and benefit us with what you taught us.

As for what follows: Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, may God have mercy on him, was a scholar and a moderate and moderate imam with extensive knowledge, broad eloquence, piety and asceticism - we consider him as such. Everyone who reads this Imam, may God have mercy on him, his books, may God have mercy on him, are full of masterpieces, pearls and benefits, then you feel as you read that he puts solutions to the problem and medicine for the disease and reaches your heart and treats it until it was said in him: “Doctor of hearts.” Therefore, we have collected what was easy to collect and arrange of masterpieces, pearls and benefits of Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya, may God have mercy on him, and through transmission only without any conjugation
But we wanted several things:

First: These pearls and masterpieces are of benefit to the servant; Because it is short, eloquent, and contains many benefits, we ask God to benefit those who read and work with it, because there is no value for knowledge except with action, as Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said in his book Al-Fawa’id: Why blame the hypocrites.” (1).

Second: Such masterpieces of the imams of the Salaf are among the best cited by preachers, preachers, and even scholars. This is after the words of God and the words of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and for this we have made what is easy to collect in chapters so that it is easy to access if you want some of his words in a particular chapter if found, God willing. .

Third: For young people and non-young people who have activities on the Internet and social networking sites, they may share and publish them, and this is under the heading: “Indicator of good is the one who does it.”

Fourth: Many of us do not know about Ibn al-Qayyim except his name or know only a little about him, but some of us do not differentiate between him and Imam Ibn al-Jawzi. Therefore, you will find in the beginning of the book a brief definition of Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, that includes his name, the reason for his name Ibn al-Qayyim, his birth, and his sheikhs. And his students, and his books, and so on.

We also advise you to make sure to read his books, may God have mercy on him, as they are available, and to follow the explanation of his books from our distinguished scholars, may God grant them success.

And we say as Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said in the introduction to the book (The Kindergarten of Lovers and the Nuzha of the Passionate): “And this is his merchandise that is presented to you, and his wife is given to you. He was satisfied with her dowry with a sincere invitation if she accepted it with approval and approval, and a beautiful response if her luck was contempt and disapproval. We also say that whatever success is from God alone, and whatever was wrong, slip or short, is from us and from Satan.

We also ask God to accept this quest and benefit from it, and make it pure for His sake, and make it in our scales and the scales of our parents, and make it an ongoing charity for us and our parents, and everyone who contributed to it in any way, and forgive us and our parents and Muslims and Muslim women, He is the guardian of that and capable of it.
