Simplistic client app to send signals to gdo-server an open source project to open a garage door.

DISCLAIMER: This app alone doesn't work to open a remote controlled garage door as a standalone solution (a typical smartphone usually doesn't contain the necessary RF transmitter that would be necessary to accomplish that).
It is simply a client that can communicate with a Raspberry PI (a popular single board computer) running server software as indicated above, which needs to be located in transmission range to the garage door you want to open and needs to be physically wired to a suitable remote to activate the opening mechanism.
It requires a some technical know how to setup and operate this solution.
