Familiestart has been developed by Region North Jutland in collaboration with two North Jutland municipalities.
The app contains guidance for your child's motor and social development as well as information on everything from newborn care to starting food. In addition, the app contains knowledge about the female body after giving birth, relationships, family formation and the well-being and development of the child.
If you participate in Familiestart's pilot project, you will also have your health nurse close at hand, as you will have the opportunity to communicate directly with a health nurse in your home municipality, both by means of messages, pictures and video consultation if necessary.
Contents of the app:
- Breastfeeding: Getting started with breastfeeding, breastfeeding in the first period when breastfeeding works, help with common breastfeeding challenges, breastfeeding twins, bottle feeding and stopping breastfeeding.
- The child's well-being and development: Examinations in the first time after birth, the child's body, the child's well-being and development month by month, as well as suggestions for games.
- The female body after childbirth: Bleeding, after-pain, rupture, urination and possible incontinence, defecation after childbirth, haemorrhoids, menstruation, contraception, after caesarean section, split abdominal muscles, vitamin supplements, oedema, night sweats and hot flashes, thirst, hair and nails, pelvic floor training and exercise after the birth.
- Family formation: Understanding one's child, the child's crying and difficult emotions, disturbances and repairs in the relationship, shared responsibility, postpartum depression, maternity leave, couples, rainbow families, twin families.
