Rapid Rota is designed specifically for staff to manage their availability within a rota planning system used by their organisation. The core functionality allows users to add or edit their availability so rota planners can generate fair and accurate schedules.
Functionality Summary:
- Users can set general working preferences (e.g. working days)
- Users can mark specific dates/times as available or unavailable
- Availability data is submitted to the organisation’s central rota system
Account Access:
Users do not sign up through the app. Access is restricted to staff who have already been invited or authorised through their workplace. This is a tool managed by an organisation administrator, not a public sign-up app.
Permissions:
- Calendar access is optional and only used to allow users to view their confirmed shifts in their personal calendar.
- Notifications may be used to remind staff about upcoming shifts.
