The digestive system protects the body from harmful substances in the food and from its own wastes. In addition, it produces nutrients required by the body to maintain normal metabolism. This system is made up of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and pancreas, and their associated glands.

Psychology is, of course, more than just one thing.
