Crush the Crave™ is an app developed by researchers with input from people who vape to help users quit vaping. Features include:

1. A customized quit plan
2. The tracking of cravings and vaping habits, including a diary of vaping triggers that records when, where, and why vaping occurs
3. Access to evidence-based services such as quitlines in Canada that support quitting vaping
4. Calculators showing the amount of money saved since quitting
5. Visual representation of progress over time
6. Ability to geotag where vaping and craving take place that is only viewable to the user
7. Reminders or push notifications of money saved, health improvements, and achievement of goals
8. Awards that give credit for progress towards reaching milestones
9. Ability to upload personalized pictures and videos to share with friends plotting user’s progress
10. Supportive messages tailored to where users are in the quitting process and based on evidence-informed information on topics such as dealing with cravings, nicotine replacement therapy or NRT, alcohol, exercise, weight gain, etc.
