WeKnow is a simple but innovative new age personal data sharing app that lets the user obtain basic details such as name, mobile number, email address, etc. about a friend or co-worker, simply by scanning their unique QR code. While this may come across as an invasion of one’s privacy, the brilliance of this app lies in the fact that the person whose code is being scanned gets to know the identity of the scanner.


In other words, the WeKnow app displays details of both the scanner and the one being scanned. This leaves no room for anonymous and malicious use of sensitive personal data.
