Uthhan – Empowering Artisans is a gateway between the artisan and the enduser. Uthhan is the first initiative in India where profit from artefact sales goes directly to the artisan families without any middlemen.
App helps the artisans in such a way that they can present their products to the buyers online without any middleman. App lets the artisans register, login, upload their products, track online orders for artefacts and check the earnings which will be transferred directly to their bank account.

Uthhan Features:
Uthhan is joint initiative between the between different artisan community organizations and GERG for the upliftment of financially weaker segment of skilled artisans across India. Through this , artisans can directly upload their handicrafts products online in Uthhan Store for prospective online buyers.
• Artisans need to register in App by giving essential information which include family, product and bank account details
On successful uploading of above-mentioned details the Artisan Account and a unique uthhan ID will be created.
• Artisans get the option to edit their personal details
• Artisans will get notifications about the sale of their respective products.
• Artisans have the option to track their product delivery and earnings.

Project eliminates the role of middlemen and other illegal financial exploitation which kept a monster sum of skilled workers in India in dark and never ending financial agony.
This effort will unify all type of skilled workers across India which will lead a new ray of hope for the community to fight for their rightful cause without fear.
