Vectren’s Builder Portal allows builders and contractors to request and track the status of natural gas and/or electric utility service orders, and pay their Vectren bills from one central source. Available actions include:
• Order natural gas and/or electric service for newly constructed buildings/homes
• Report site readiness and request meter set
• Request transfer of service to homeowner upon completion
• Check order status
• Pay bills

All orders can be reviewed and managed from a single registered, builder account. Builders have the flexibility of saving templates for common order types for faster requests in the future. Search functionality allows for fast, easy retrieval of order details when multiple orders exist within the builder’s account. Orders will remain in the builder’s view for six months after project completion. After each successful step in the order process, builders receive confirmation e-mails which are archived with the order details and can be viewed from within the Builder Portal.
