If you arrange a given set of numbers in rows and columns in such a way that the sum obtained in each row or column or diagonal works out to the same sum then it is called a “Magic Square”. For eg :

Magic squares are known all over the world. Benjamin Franklin worked on magic squares nearly 200 years ago. But magic squares are known much earlier than that. You find a magic square on a temple wall of Khajuraho in central India.


The name of this puzzle i.e., RoCoDi is an acronym derived from Row, Column and Diagonal. RoCoDi is a 4x4 grid magic square puzzle while RoCoDi-02 is of a 5x5 grid. These two are puzzles for you to solve.

In the app select a place first and then touch a number. The round block containing the number shoots to the place. Row total, Column total and diagonal total if applicable update immediately. Again if you touch the number then the number shoots back to its original place. You can also move the numbers internally in the grid from one place to another vacant place.

The puzzles can be solved in many combinations. So you can try for one.

In 4x4 puzzle three options are provided which vary in difficulty level. In 5x5 only two variants are provided.
