In an effort to meet service standards for fire and non-fire affairs, according to Permendagri no.114 of 2018 concerning technical standards for basic services at minimum service standards for district/city fire sub-affairs. In response to this, the DPKP of Indragiri Hilir Regency made an innovative breakthrough in the form of an android application on the Playstore to be installed under the name DAMKAR SIAP which stands for Dedication, Reliable, Humane, Creative, Anticipatory, Friendly, Gratitude, Sincere, Trustworthy, Professional. The DAMKAR SIAP feature is equipped with a reporting form that must be filled in by the public in cases of fire and non-fire accompanied by a location and can include photos of fire and non-fire incidents which will be followed up by firefighters who are connected via the WhatsApp application on the Report menu. facilitate the community and officers to communicate with each other by exchanging messages. The application is also accompanied by an emergency number to contact firefighters, articles, education, publications, social media, community satisfaction surveys and a community safety index with a digital-based application, namely DAMKAR SIAP. Apart from that, some of the features in the DAMKAR READY application that can be used by the general public include:
· Applications for fire poison recommendations for companies and individuals related to fire protection equipment.
· Application for training to the Indragiri Hilir Regency Fire and Rescue Service.
· Application for a visit to the Mako Damkar to the Fire and Rescue Service of Indragiri Hilir Regency.
